Designed as a small-scale version of our larger, purpose-built factories, our product development team uses the Innovation Hub as a space to trial new mixes and ingredients before taking them to the factory.
The Hub is set up to enable accurate product development
This allows us to continually innovate new flavours economically. Featuring a batch pasteurizer, a small blast freezer, and a churn with an output of up to 100L an hour and controlled overrun settings, it allows us to trial different stabilisers and emulsifiers as well as test a variety of overrun options, all in economical small batches with minimal waste. And when we get the recipe exactly right, it can go straight to full batch runs at the factory with perfect accuracy.
